British troops lead Bastille Day parade.


BRITISH troops led France's annual Bastille Day parade for the first time yesterday to celebrate the centenary of the Entente Cordiale Entente Cordiale: see Triple Alliance and Triple Entente.
Entente Cordiale

(French; “Cordial Understanding”)

(April 8, 1904) Anglo-French agreement that settled numerous colonial disputes and ended antagonisms between Britain
 -- the historic pact ending centuries of warring and hostility.
