Speaking on the occasion, the envoy said that he was assigned a duty by the British government to coordinate efforts with international community for ensuring economic stability in Pakistan. He said British leadership fully believes that there is no danger to world from Pakistan. He expressed his concern that terrorist elements carrying terrorist activities in Pakistan could emerge as danger for the country. The envoy appreciating the efforts of Pakistan for the elimination of Al-Qaeda, said We believe in political reconciliation with strands of conservative Pashtoon tribes of Afghanistan fighting as Taliban. Highlighting the importance of resolution of Kashmir issue, he underlined the need for initiating Composite Dialogue to minimise tension between Pakistan and India.
