British Airways Sets Denver Take-Off for Sept. 1, Praises Unyielding Support of Denver, Colorado.

See Small airways.  announced today it will start operating a major new daily transatlantic route between Denver and London on Sept. 1.

The service was originally scheduled to start with the launch of the summer schedule but was postponed because of delays in receiving the necessary US government approvals.

"The delay has been unfortunate, but it does means that we have had more time to put our people and plans in place and to ensure the new route will take off with the maximum we can offer in marketing support," said Dale Moss, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, USA.

"Our commitment to Denver has only grown stronger as the months passed and we witnessed unyielding support from both the state of Colorado and the people of Denver," he added. "Their determination in seeing this route come to fruition fru·i·tion
