with previous equipment, the Britecell Plus system offers an intelligent plug-and-play solution for fast setup and the flexibility to cover any size indoor area.

The new Britecell Plus RF-over-fiber system has a wireless LAN A local area network that transmits over the air typically in the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz unlicensed frequency band. It does not require line of sight between sender and receiver. Wireless base stations (access points) are wired to an Ethernet network and transmit a radio frequency over an area  integration feature, comprehensive monitoring system, and multiple power options for greater system flexibility. This tri-band modular system handles all frequencies through the use of highly selective duplexers and filters.

Three RF power choices allow the unit to be configured to fit the coverage and capacity requirements of any size indoor venue, including airports, shopping malls, hotels, conference centers, corporate enterprises, and high rise buildings.

"Our newest Britecell Plus system transports all wireless frequencies and modulation standards with near perfect integrity. It is perfect for both simple and complex applications," said Gianpiero Villa, Group President, Wireless Innovations, Andrew Corporation. "These units address all technologies simultaneously, which is critical in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. , and are completely future-proof. They are easy to install and maintain and represent an ideal solution for today and tomorrow in all possible environments."

The Britecell Plus system has two main components. A master unit connects to the base station and transports RF signals over a pair of single mode fiber at 1310 nm. Any number of remote units can be connected to the master unit and located up to 3 km away.
