Brite Selected by Ericsson as Partner to Supply Messaging, Intelligent Peripherals and Speech Recognition.


ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 12, 1999--Brite Voice Systems (Nasdaq:BVSI) has been selected by Ericsson, a world leading supplier of telecommunications equipment and services, as a partner to supply Intelligent Peripherals (IP), speech recognition applications and messaging products including voice, fax, intelligent and unified messaging Having access to e-mail, voice mail and faxes via a common computer application or by telephone. For example, unified messaging may send faxes and digitized voice mail to a mail server that turns them into e-mail attachments. . Ericsson will now be able to offer these Brite products to GSM and Fixed Network Operators worldwide.
