Britain suffers 232nd Afghanistan death.


ANOTHER British soldier has been killed in Afghanistan Afghanistan (ăfgăn`ĭstăn', ăfgän'ĭstän`), officially Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, republic (2005 est. pop. 29,929,000), 249,999 sq mi (647,497 sq km), S central Asia. .

, The Rifles, died in a blast near Sangin Sangin is a town in the Helmand province of Afghanistan, with population of approximately 14,000 people. News of the latest death came after a soldier from the 2nd Battalion, The Rifles, was killed in an explosion in the same area on Saturday afternoon.

Eight British soldiers have died in the country this month alone.
