Britain Today: Soldier named.

A BRITISH soldier killed in southern Afghanistan was named yesterday.

Sergeant Dave Wilkinson, 33, of the 19 Regiment Royal Artillery “RGA” redirects here. For other uses, see RGA (disambiguation).
The Royal Regiment of Artillery, generally known as the Royal Artillery (RA), is an Arm of the British Army. Despite its name, it is made up of a number of regiments.
, was killed when his vehicle was blown up after an exchange of fire on Sunday which also injured four other soldiers.

Sgt Wilkinson was married and from Ashford, Kent.

He was the second British soldier to die in Afghanistan at the weekend.
