The channel took its current name on February 7, 2005; before then, the network was known as Fox Sports World, Launched Nov. 1, 1997. for a third season beginning Thursday, August 25 at 9:00 p.m. ET. Each hour-long episode follows the saga of Harchester United, a fictional English Premier League soccer team, as its players chase their dreams of fame and fortune. New installments will air every Thursday at 9:00 p.m. ET. This season, the team prepares for its first-ever appearance in the European tournament with a new captain, Stevie Shaw (Adam Allfrey); a new owner, Sam Irving Samuel Johnstone Irving (born 2 August 1883 in Belfast, died 12 December 1968 in Dundee) was a Northern Irish footballer and manager. Career Irving began his footballing career in the North-East of England, playing for a number of non-League clubs, and in 1911 having an (Stefan Dennis); a new team manager, Alan Rothman (Glen Murphy); and a new coach, David Spears (Simon Merrells). There will be plenty of on-field action and behind-the-scenes intrigue to keep audiences glued to their TV sets all season long.
