The new release also adds a bandwidth conservation feature which automatically selects compression levels for voice packets based on the bandwidth available on a particular network segment. Bristol will also be releasing the first results of their testing of improved voice throughput using the 802.1p packet protocol. This QOS (quality of service) protocol allows companies to set the priority of voice packets over a data network. The Bristol Group will be hosting a hospitality suite in the Santa Vesta Room of the Hyatt Saint Claire just across the street from the Convention Center.
