Brislin Mcanally.Lee Kathryn Brislin and Adam William McAnally were married at S p.m., 2006, at St. Francis at the Point Protestant Episcopal Church in Point Clear, Alabama. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Sprott Brislin III of Columbus. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. McAnally III of Caledonia. Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Milton S. Brislin Jr. and the late Mr. Brislin and Mrs. Robert Lee Quinn and the late Mr. Quinn. The groom's grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Noel Wade Lamer and Mrs. Wiilliam H. McAnally Sr. and the late Mr. McAnally. Rev. Charles E. Morely officiated. Readers were Heather Ford, Michelle McAnally, and Sarah McAnally, sisters of the groom. Music was provided by Mark Habib, classical guitarist. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a couture design by Suzanne Ermann of Paris. The cream silk creation featured a halterneck gown with empire waist. Silk gauze woven through with silver threads was delicately draped and knotted to form the skirt. She wore a small veil of her dress material, created by her maid of honor, and carried a loose garden-style bouquet of ranunculus, muscari, bouvardia, lisianthus, anemones, hydrangeas, and kangaroo paws in shades of purple and green. Beneath her bouquet was her mother's prayer book, carried in her wedding, and a handkerchief belonging to her late maternal great-grandmother. Attending as maid of honor was Melissa Riddle. Haley Smith Graham and Kallie Stacy Brislin, sister-in-law of the bride, served as matrons of honor. Also attending were Connie Rice, Katherine Feeney, and Leanne Hensley. The bridesmaids wore tea-length espresso embossed seersucker strapless dresses. Their dresses were complemented by bronze shoes and differing necklaces in tones of amber, gold, and brown. The attendants carried small versions of the bride's bouquet. Attending as flower girl was Hannah Frances Ford, niece of the groom. Bill McAnally served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Jared Spears; Cody Dean; Dow Ford, brother in law of groom; and Quinn Brislin, brother of the bride. Christian Heinkel served as usher, and Barbara Pate handed out programs. Rehearsal proxy bride was Cindy Krutz. Fellers Cove B&B in Fairhope, Alabama, was the bayside setting for the reception. Lanterns of varying colors and beautiful multicolored arrangements matching the bride's bouquet added elegance and color to the event. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Jesse's Restaurant in Magnolia Springs, Alabama. A bridesmaids' luncheon was held at the Fairhope Inn the day before, hosted by Beth Rice, Connie Rice, Sandra Wilkerson, and Haley Graham. Following a honeymoon trip to Victoria, British Columbia, the couple resides in Mobile, Alabama. |
