Brio Technology and Pine Cone Systems Announce Strategic Partnership; Companies Introduce Integrated Solution for Enterprise Data Warehouse Management.


ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 17, 1998--Brio Technology, Inc. and Pine Cone Systems, Inc. -- companies founded by two of the industry's visionaries, Katherine Glassey, co-founder of Brio Technology, and Bill Inmon, founder of Pine Cone Systems -- today announced a strategic partnership and integrated solution.

Brio Technology, the enterprise business intelligence company, and Pine Cone Systems, the leading provider of data warehousing administration and management solutions, announced the technical integration of the Brio Enterprise family of business intelligence products with Pine Cone's Usage Tracker(tm) software for data warehouse management at the DCI (Display Control Interface) An Intel/Microsoft programming interface for full-motion video and games in Windows.
