Brio Technology Announces Reseller Agreement with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 1999--Brio Technology (Nasdaq:BRYO) today announced a reseller agreement with PricewaterhouseCoopers Technology Integration LLC, a subsidiary of the world's largest professional services organization that resells information technology hardware and software products.

In a related announcement, PricewaterhouseCoopers introduced the Knowledge-based Solution Series for Higher Education, a series of integrated datamarts for different aspects of university information systems such as student information, human resources and financials. Each analytical application in the series -- including the first solution, called StudentBase(tm) -- includes Brio Enterprise as the end user software.

With this reseller agreement, PricewaterhouseCoopers can resell the Brio Enterprise suite of products for the Knowledge-based Solution Series for Higher Education and other business intelligence solutions.
