Brio has recently stepped up its international marketing emphasis and has begun focussing heavily on the Asian markets. Brio president Hermann J. Riepl said, "This agreement represents a major penetration into the Japanese market, and we are looking forward to pursuing other similar international opportunities in the coming months."
