Brinkley Nichols.The celebration and blessing of the marriage of Christen Alexandria Brinkley and Erich Norwood Nichols was held at six o'clock in the evening on Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Hattiesburg. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Rev. Steve Hines. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Haynes Alexander Brinkley of Petal. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Peggy Brinkley and the late Mr. Haynes Brinkley Jr. of Jackson and Mrs. Audrey Vaughn and the late Mr. Alvin Rhue Vaughn of Forest. The groom is the son of Mrs. Peggy Langlois of Juneau, Alaska, and Mr. William Nichols of Ocean Springs. He is the grandson of Mrs. Peggy Carmouche and the late Dr. Earnest Norwood Carmouche of Biloxi and Mrs. Charmaine Nichols and the late Mr. William Henry Nichols of Wichita, Kansas. The bride's five-tiered wedding cake was adorned with white hydrangeas, Akito roses, and Italian ruscus. The groom's table held a three-tiered cake featuring a guitar-shaped top layer. Guests danced to music provided by The Patrick Smith Band.
