 to Sisco's safes."

Sisco, which has more than 20 percent of the U.S. consumer market in safes, said it will launch its first Brink's Home Security safe introduction at The National Hardware Show in Chicago, August 10-13, 1997.

"Until now, there's been no brand with the ability to compete aggressively with Sentry for the retail safe market," said Mort Stuhlbarg, president and founder of 10 year old Sisco. "And with almost every dealer selling the same lines, there hasn't been room for retailers to make reasonable profits. We're about to change that."

Stuhlbarg said the safe category should actually be a good one for retailers. "It's a $100 million market that will grow $10 million this year. Not many categories can claim a ten percent growth rate," he said.
