SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 1999--Home PC users can now produce professional television/DVD quality digital video, thanks to VITEC Multimedia's MPEG Toolbox-2. The cost-saving advantage of this encoder is that the MTB2 is bundled with an MPEG-2 editor for high quality editing and production.

"Anyone equipped with a standard AVI capture board will be able to convert a large AVI file into a smaller MPEG-2 file.
