, Inc., Brillion, Wisconsin. The hubs will be machined by Gunite at its facility in Elkhart, Indiana.

The design results in a ductile iron hub that is lighter weight than an aluminum front hub assembly for comparable gross axle ratings, said Bill Ott, Gunite vice president of engineering.

When compared to Gunite's previous hub design, the hub offers a 12-lb weight reduction, Ott added.

The hubs will be for Class 6, 7 and 8 highway trucks.

Gunite manufactures drums, hubs and wheels for the truck industry.

Brillion produces iron castings for the transportation, agriculture, mining, power generation and heating industries.
