While the visitors enjoyed the lion's share of possession, the game was half an hour old before either side produced a shot on goal and the first arrived when Josh Jackson's chip floated just clear of the bar.

Minutes later, keeper George Burrell pulled off a tremendous save at the feet of the same Battyeford striker.

Neither side were able to make the breakthrough in the second half and the sides had to settle for a point each.

Liversedge notched their first win of the Under 11 First Division season with a solid 2-0 win at home to Skelmanthorpe.

The visitors were unable to find the net as goals from George Dignam and Ben Hutchinson Ben Hutchinson (born 27 November 1987), is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Middlesbrough. Hepworth United's third string side maintained their 100% start to the season with their fourth win from four games.

Battyeford were the latest side to try to upset United's run but goals from Joseph Gardiner, Ben Rushton and an own goal were enough to seal a 3-1 win for Hepworth.

In division 4A of the Under 11s, Westend Tigers sealed their second win of the season with a 6-0 victory over Gomersal.

Meanwhile, Westend Under 13s grabbed their first point of the season after an extraordinary comeback in their Division IV meeting with Vision.

Jordan Norde (2), Ross Procter and an own goal looked certain to condemn Westend to their fifth defeat as Wyke based Vision held a comfortable 4-0 lead at half time.

But a remarkable turn started when Adam Hockham chipped the keeper from the edge of the area to pull one back for Westend.

Joshua Thomas-Newburn grabbed a second and Liam Smith struck his first goal for Westend to put the Salendine Nook Salendine Nook is a district of Huddersfield 3 km (2 miles) to the north-west of Huddersfield in the English county of West Yorkshire.

Time was running out fast as Vision struggled to hold their fragile advantage but Daewood Aslam's equaliser in the dying minutes finally sealed Westend's first point.

Newly promoted Dalton Dynamoes Under 15s moved into a respectable mid-table position in Division I, following their 4-2 win over Meltham who find themselves still struggling. Meltham scored twice through Toby Farrington and Elliot Mitchell but a goal each for Reece Lloyd, Kedesh Goddard, Thomas Short and Nial Joseph sealed the victory for Dalton.
