Brill Academic Publishers launches "International Community Law Review".

 Academic Publishers (Boston, MA) has merged "International Law Forum du Droit [French, Justice, right, law.] A term denoting the abstract concept of law or a right.

Droit is as variable a phrase as the English right or the Latin jus. It signifies the entire body of law or a right in terms of a duty or obligation.
 International" and "Merging Non-State Actors Non-state actors, in international relations, are actors on the international level which are not states. The admission of non-state actors into international relations theory is inherently a rebuke to the assumptions of realism and other "black box" theories of international  and International Law" and has begun the publication of "International Community Law Review," a new journal designed to address all aspects of international law and the international community. An annual subscription costs $82 for individuals and $249 for institutions.

Brill said the journal's mission is to explore the implications of various traditions of international law, as well as more current perceived hegemonic trends, for the idea of an international community. It will also examine how the international community uses and adapts international law to deal with new and emerging challenges, and how non-state actors, including intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, individuals and transnational corporations Any corporation that is registered and operates in more than one country at a time; also called a multinational corporation.

A transnational, or multinational, corporation has its headquarters in one country and operates wholly or partially owned subsidiaries in one or more
, impact contemporary international law.

Its editorial focus is global and multicultural rather than regional, Brill said, and will carry content with perspectives from all parts of the world. The journal is targeted to practitioners, law students and academics in the field of international law, national law, international relations international relations, study of the relations among states and other political and economic units in the international system. Particular areas of study within the field of international relations include diplomacy and diplomatic history, international law,  and economics.
