Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL) announced today that its subsidiary, Brightpoint North America, has entered into an agreement with Handspring, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAND) to provide integrated logistics services including procurement, programming, packaging, distribution and other services relating to the VisorPhone(TM) Springboard(TM) module. In addition, Brightpoint has developed technology and processes that allow for the connection of Handspring VisorPhone subscribers to various networks. The VisorPhone module allows the Visor to be used as a mobile phone.
