Brightpoint and U.S. Electronics Enter Into Distribution Agreement.

PLAINFIELD, Ind. -- Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL) today announced that its subsidiary, Brightpoint North America L.P., ("Brightpoint") has entered into a distribution agreement with U.S. Electronics, Inc. ("U.S. Electronics") whereby Brightpoint will distribute U.S. Electronics and XACT Communications LLC, an affiliate of U.S. Electronics ("XACT"). Satellite Radio Receivers and related products and services into its independent dealer and agent channel.

This announcement is in support of the previously announced agreement between Brightpoint and SIRIUS on October 5, 2005. Brightpoint, through its Accesspoint Dealer Network program, will offer its current and future dealers the opportunity to become Authorized SIRIUS Agents. Its dealers will be able to offer SIRIUS service plans, approved devices, such as U.S. Electronics/XACT Receivers and related accessories, and activate new customer accounts.

Accesspoint is Brightpoint's value-enhancing master agent program that supports qualified dealers with a comprehensive group of services. This program, which currently serves more than 1,800 dealers nationwide, creates opportunities for independent dealers, agents and specialty retailers to offer wireless products and service activations, and earn highly competitive commissions.
