Brightpoint and Ericsson Mobile Phones Extend Exclusive Distribution Agreement for United States.

Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL) announced today that it has extended its agreement with Ericsson Mobile Phones (NASDAQ:ERICY) through December 31, 2001, for the sale and distribution of Ericsson wireless phones wireless phones in the United States. Brightpoint continues to be the exclusive authorized distributor for Ericsson brand wireless phones in the United States. This agreement also authorizes Brightpoint to act as a distributor of Ericsson Original Accessories.
