Brightpoint Enters into Distribution Agreement for Simply Phones with ECCB.

PLAINFIELD, Ind. -- Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL) announced today that its subsidiary, Brightpoint Australia (Pty) Limited. ("Brightpoint"), has entered into a distribution agreement with European Consulting and Computer Business S.A. ("ECCB"), whereby, Brightpoint will distribute ECCB devices including the Simply Phones. Simply Phones allow users to make internet calls, avoiding the need for a headset.

On October 24, 2005, Brightpoint Inc. announced a similar agreement authorizing Brightpoint North America L.P. to initially distribute ECCB products in the Americas with a provision to include additional geographies in the future.
