Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL), announced today that it has appointed Frank Terence as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company, replacing Phillip A. Bounsall effective April 22, 2002.

Mr. Terence was from 1994 to 1999 employed by Ingram Micro, Inc. (NYSE:IM) in various financial positions, the most recent of which was as the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of its Frameworks Integration Services division. During 2000 and through January, 2001 Mr. Terence served as the Chief Financial Officer of eTranslate, Inc., a San Francisco based Web Services Company. Currently, Mr. Terence is the Chief Financial Officer of Velocitel, LLC, a Wireless telecommunications infrastructure company with operations in the United States, Latin America and Europe.
