Brightpoint's Distribution of Mobility Electronics' Universal Power Adapters Increases Penetration With Cellular Phone Retailers.


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Mobility Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:MOBE MOBE Marketing Opportunities in Business and Entertainment ) announced today that Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq: CELL), a distributor of Mobility's universal power adapters An external power supply for laptop computers and just about every portable or semi-portable electronic device on the market. Also called an "AC adapter," it contains a rectifier to convert AC current to DC and a transformer to convert voltage from 120 down to 9, 12, 15 or whatever is  for low-power mobile electronic devices, will focus on increasing penetration of Mobility's products within its nationwide network of cellular phone retailers. Brightpoint, a global leader in the distribution of wireless devices, handled more than 42 million wireless devices worldwide in 2005.

Brightpoint will distribute certain Mobility products, including the iGo(R) auto8 DC adapter and the iGo wall8 AC adapter Same as power adapter. , as well as a selection of the most popular interchangeable power tips that can be utilized on thousands of cell phones, PDAs, digital cameras, MP3 players and other low-power mobile electronic devices. Brightpoint will source the iGo products through Mobility's strategic partner, Motorola.
