Mark Green joins Brighton Brighton, city (1991 pop. 134,581) and district, East Sussex, SE England. The largest and most popular resort in S England, Brighton also has engineering works and factories that manufacture office machinery, machine tools, electrical apparatus, vacuum cleaners, shoes, and paint. Formerly a small fishing village, it became a fashionable resort and was patronized, starting in 1783, by the Prince of Wales (later George IV), who had the Royal Pavilion built. In his new role, Green leads a team of 10 professionals in supervising all e-business activities of Brighton and its subsidiary, Brighton Interactive, LLC. Before joining Brighton, he was director of Web strategies for Divine Inc., formerly marchFIRST. Prior to that, Green was CEO and co-founder of Campusdog.com, a Web-based portal localized to 1,400 college campuses nationwide. Green also has held account service positions with LaSalle Group, Red Rock Communications and Osborn & Barr Communications.
