Balmoral Imperial Wok Argos, pounds 17.95

Completely stainless steel without any non-stick coating at all we expected this wok to be a bit of a tester to cook with - but we were pleasantly surprised. Granted you need more oil than with non-stick but both the veggies Veggies of Nottingham, also known as Veggies Catering Campaign, is a campaigning group based in Nottingham, England, promoting ethicalbum alternatives to mainstream fast food.  and the meat cooked well. Slightly more of a chore to clean but great value for money and it comes with a 10 year guarantee - so a definite endurer!

Typhoon typhoon: see hurricane.  Professional Sainsburys, pounds 19.99

We found this wok deep and sturdy and great fun to cook with. The large rubberwood handles mean you can really throw your ingredients around- very satisfying! This one is also non-stick but double coated so you can stir-fry at temperatures up to 280 degrees. An all round good buy and seemed fairly durable too.
