Yardley Wood Neighbourhood Office, in School Road, is one of several facilities being given bright makeovers by the city council.

The aim is to provide council offices with a consistent look, a welcoming and modern experience for customers and a better working environment for staff.

The Yardley Wood centre, which attracts hundreds of visitors per day, has been given a new reception area, carpet and phone system and new advice desks which have been partitioned to provide more privacy.
