Bright View Technologies Names VP Business Development.

MORRISVILLE, N.C. -- Bright View Technologies, the leading developer of innovative microstructure based optical films for the worldwide display market, today announced that it has named Douglas W. Adams as Vice President Business Development. Adams brings 26 years of leadership and business experience in all aspects of rapidly growing, technology based businesses to this role.

Prior to joining Bright View, Adams was a Director at 3Com Corporation, a leading Internetworking firm in the Boston, MA area. At 3Com, he was responsible for business development and marketing for a number of emerging businesses as well as division level business development and strategy. As Director, Worldwide Marketing he wrote the business plan that formed the companies VoIP division and launched the VCX VoIP product line for large enterprises. At Avid Technology Adams drove the worlds first all computer RAID disk/ATM based client server production systems into the video tape based broadcast television industry. Over his career, Adams has held leadership roles in sales, product management, business development and marketing in venture funded firms, emerging growth companies and large businesses such as Sony, where he was a award winning sales leader in the Broadcast Division driving the first all digital production systems and displays into an all analog network television industry.
