Bright House Networks' Indianapolis Division Selects Convergys Billing and Customer Care Solution.

Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), the global leader in integrated billing, employee care, and customer care services, announced today it signed an ICOMS software license agreement with the Indianapolis Division of Bright House Networks, a leading cable company which serves more than 2.1 million customers in and around Indianapolis; Central Florida/Orlando and Tampa Bay; Birmingham, Alabama; Detroit; and Bakersfield, California. Convergys' ICOMS software is the industry-leading convergent voice, video, and high-speed data billing and subscriber management solution for cable, broadband, and satellite service providers.

As part of the master services agreement with Convergys, Bright House Networks purchased a license for the ICOMS Web Self-Care module, an ICOMS offering that gives customers the option for self-service through the Internet, providing them with more freedom in service choices. Web Self-Care offers a low cost means for cable and broadband service providers to provide high quality customer service by shifting a portion of their call volume from live-agent interaction to self-service contacts.
