Brigham Young University Relies on EatecNetX to Manage Dining Services and Retail Operations.

) is situated on a 560 acre campus with over 30,000 students and 4,100 full-time faculty, administrative and staff personnel. BYU is nationally recognized for its strong educational programs and high quality of teaching, receiving acclaim from publications such as U.S. News and World Report which gave BYU high marks in several categories in its 2004 "America's Best Colleges" issue. Eatec's back-office technology was implemented by BYU in order to meet the requirements of its extensive operations. EatecNetX is relied on to manage BYU's foodservice in four restaurants, ten outlets in its kiosks and food courts, a grocery store, and seven production facilities. BYU is using EatecNetX for purchasing and receiving, requisitions and transfers, inventory control, and recipe costing and analysis. After analyzing a number of different programs, with a detailed criteria list with 63 first-priority items including purchasing, inventory and production, we chose Eatec's software to replace the applications we were using. We selected EatecNetX because it is web-based, it was rated by users as more user-friendly against competing products, and it has an integrated catering module. We are very happy with the results we are already seeing with EatecNetX, and look forward to even more success with Eatec in the future." Interfaces will be added to link EatecNetX to BYU's point-of-sale and financial systems.
