Hospital expands

MILFORD - Milford Regional Medical Center opened a treatment center this week in collaboration with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital. The cancer center, housed in a two-story, 54,000-square-foot building on the medical center's campus at routes 16 and 140, will serve about 40 communities. (Bloomberg News)

ASC results

DEVENS - American Superconductor Corp., an energy technologies company, will release its third-quarter fiscal 2007 financial results prior to the market opening on Jan. 31. American Superconductor management will participate in a conference call with investors beginning at 10 a.m. that day to discuss the company's results and its business outlook. Tax Web site

BOSTON - The state Department of Revenue has added features to its Web site to guide taxpayers filling out forms related to the state's new health insurance law.

All taxpayers 18 and older who were full-year residents of Massachusetts last year or met certain part-year resident requirements must fill out a new "Schedule HC," DOR reported in a news release. Taxpayers can obtain information for it from 1099-HC forms provided by employers or from health insurance cards, the state said.

DOR has added a virtual tour to its Web site at www.mass.gov/dor to help taxpayers with the form. The tour requires Adobe Flash Player. Also on the Web site is an insurance affordability calculator.

Unitil dividend

HAMPTON, N.H. - Unitil Corp. announced that the regular quarterly dividend on the company's common stock of 35 cents per share is payable on Feb. 15, to shareholders of record on Feb. 1. This quarterly dividend results in a current effective annual dividend rate of $1.38 per share. Unitil Corp. is a public utility holding company with subsidiaries providing electric service in New Hampshire and electric and gas service in Massachusetts. Its subsidiaries include Fitchburg Gas and Electric Light Co.

Court contract

QUINCY -The Office and Professional Employees International Union Local 6 has completed negotiations for a three-year contract for its 3,500 statewide trial court employees, and its membership has voted to ratify the contract. The three-year contract that will see a 3 percent across-the-board wage increase each year for the next three years, the establishment of an additional incremental pay step, and five weeks of vacation after 17-1/2 years of service. The contract is retroactive to July 1. The trial court workers represented under OPEIU Local 6 work throughout the state court system, including Boston, Springfield, Worcester, Barnstable, Cambridge, Dedham, Pittsfield and Salem.
