MARCOLA - The Bureau of Land Management has closed a number of roads in the Shotgun Creek area until mid-October n. 1. the middle part of October.

The upper portion of Dollar Road (Road 15-1-31);

The closed portions of these roads are about four miles north of Marcola, near the Shotgun recreation area. The culverts will provide improved native fish habitat along Cash Creek.

The public will have access to the area, but only through alternative routes. Maps and signs will be posted. For more information, call 683-6600.

The July meeting of the Cicero Society will be from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the Wildish Room of the Citizens Building at 975 Oak St. in Eugene.
