Net income for the third quarter of 1997 increased 18.6 percent to $1,692,809 from the comparable period last year. Sales for the first 39 weeks of the 1997 fiscal year increased 6.8 percent to $93,465,103 compared with the same period last year. Net income increased 16.2 percent to $4,406,300 for the first three quarters of 1997 compared with the same period in 1996.
