Keystone NPS goes beyond current similar solutions by providing a software-only solution that combines both real-time monitoring of carrier Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the additional functionality of Enterprise Customer Network Management (CNM CNM Certified Nurse-Midwife; see nurse-midwife.

) services.

The combination of Performance SLA reporting services and CNM allows customers to manage the service to their particular internal customers, not just manage the network.

"Our Keystone Network Performance System empowers our customers with performance visibility and control over frame relay A high-speed packet switching protocol used in wide area networks (WANs). Providing a granular service of up to DS3 speed (45 Mbps), it has become popular for LAN to LAN connections across remote distances, and services are offered by most major carriers.  and ATM service level agreements," said Lisa Olson Lisa Olson (born circa 1964) is an American sportswriter for the New York Daily News. In 1990, while working at the Boston Herald, she was sexually harassed by New England Patriots football players in the team's locker room. , Director of Engineering at Bridgeway. "Customer Network Management is the differentiating element in our Keystone NPS offering, and our customers can maximize the use of their existing infrastructure and manage the network for their internal use based on their unique business needs."

Keystone's Enterprise CNM capabilities provide Enterprise Customers with the flexibility to discover and select their own network data, and determine the intervals in which they receive that data. CNM interprets, segments and partitions information about the service that is unique to each internal customer, such as Performance SLA information from wide area circuits, including Frame Relay, ATM and other network elements.

Keystone NPS is targeted at Enterprise Network Managers for their internal customers; Carriers and ISPs for their Enterprise Customers; and Managed Data Services and Outsourcers for their clients. Each of these groups benefits from the unique, combined performance of Keystone NPS, and is provided with needed network performance data, availability, utilization and performance SLA information for WAN and LAN (Local Area Network) A communications network that serves users within a confined geographical area. The "clients" are the user's workstations typically running Windows, although Mac and Linux clients are also used.  network elements. There is no expensive hardware to purchase or manage, regardless of the size of the customer network.
