Bridgewater Corporate Center: where the children play.

The newly-remodeled Bridgewater Corporate Center will welcome its first tenant when Stellar Academy, an innovative early childhood learning center takes occupancy of one-third of the building encompassing 16,000 s/f of space as its first New Jersey educational facility.

Vincent Marano, COO of National Business Parks, manager of the 48,5000 s/f, building made the announcement of the lease.

"Stellar Academy is planning to open its doors early in the first quarter of 2004. We think this is an excellent choice for them in terms of a location that can serve workers in the surrounding corporate complexes, as well as families throughout the Bridgewater area," he said.

Marano and NBP leasing executive Tom Stange represented the building's owner, Lawrence Zirinsky Associates, in the long-term transaction.

Stellar Academy, which is under the direction of Margaret Buley, PhD, focuses on the total development of the child, stressing eight key areas of intelligence. These include musical, verbal, mathematics, spatial, interpersonal and intrapersonal, naturalist and bodily intelligence. These skills aye taught in specialized "Learning Zones" that children visit throughout the day. The school will serve youngsters from ages 3 to 6. Its special "Little Dipper" program accepts babies from 0-3 years old.

The hours of Stellar Academy have been tailored largely for the requirements of parents in the workplace. Students may arrive as early as 7 a.m. and remain until 6 p.m. A part time program of 2-1/2 days a week is also available. Parents are encouraged to take an active part in their child's day through secure Webcam viewing and scheduled phone calls.

"The Bridgewater Corporate Center is an ideal venue for a learning center of this sort", said Marano. Its key location is easily accessible to the many businesses in the surrounding area and parking for drop off and pick up of youngsters is extremely generous and convenient. We will be constructing the interior of the Stellar Academy space specifically for their requirements, which include child-size appointments in their learning centers, play areas and lavatories."

A major renovation program was recently completed at Bridgewater Corporate Center. Landscaping has been re-designed and the parking lots have been repaved.
