Bridgestone/Firestone Chooses iFLEET as Fleet Information Service Provider.


ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 1999--

Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc. has chosen iFLEET(TM), the leading provider of fleet information and services for the commercial and automotive industry The automotive industry is the industry involved in the design, development, manufacture, marketing, and sale of motor vehicles. Specifically, iFLEET will manage on-road tire repair assistance transactions for Bridgestone/Firestone.

IFLEET's focus on technology and services enables us to stick to that business, while offering our customers the most advanced tire service alternatives."

When Bridgestone customers have a tire problem, iFLEET will schedule a repair or replacement through the closest Bridgestone/Firestone dealer. Bridgestone's National Preferred program eliminates many of the hassles drivers experience with breakdowns, including negotiating prices on tires and service, having to carry cash or credit cards for emergencies and delays getting back on the road.

 for the tire company's customers. This agreement is part of iFLEET's Web-based co-operating initiative for managing commercial transactions. When Bridgestone customers log onto Bridgestone/Firestone's web site at www.trucktires.com, they are directed to the Breakdown Manager site, which is iFLEET's breakdown management system. This allows the company's customers to manage breakdowns from the desktop.
