Bridges NYC celebrates opening.

The Bridges NYC, a two-tower, seven-story mixed-use condominium development ushering in a new era of luxury for East Harlem, recently celebrated its official grand opening with a festive evening of dinner and dancing

The Bridges lead sales agents, Sid Whelan and Leo Munoz with Halstead Property, guided party attendees through an exclusive tour of the building, where oversized two bedrooms start at $695,000 and three bedrooms start at $895,000.

At the end of the evening, Michael Waldman, owner of North Manhattan Construction, the developer of The Bridges, raffled off a new Triumph motorcycle as well as a Triumph and Ducati motorcycle jacket from Ducati New York, the European motorcycle dealership he owns in SoHo.

More than 300 brokers, prospective buyers, neighborhood business owners and civic leaders, including Senator Bill Perkins, were in attendance. Said Whelan, "The consensus was that this is one of the best values left in the city, period."

Averaging $633 per square foot on the lower floors and $813 per square foot on the penthouse floors, The Bridges is priced $50/square foot below West Harlem new construction averages between 111th and 130th streets, $200-$400/square foot below Brooklyn new construction averages, and more than $1000/square foot below Manhattan new construction averages from 110th street all the way South to the Battery. "The event was a huge success," added Munoz. "We had brokers still dancing as the tables were being removed."

The Bridges has officially opened its sales office at 2283 Third Avenue on the corner of 124th Street, with exclusive sales brokerage provided by Halstead Property Development Marketing, LLC. With the purchase of an apartment, all condo buyers will receive an annual paid membership to New York Sports Club (NYSC) and three years of paid parking.
