New subscriptions to Career Explorer have already exceeded third quarter projections by over 100 per cent. totaling 134 in June and July. This represents $167,200 in new sales for the quarter, bringing total invoicing after eight months to $975,200. Revenue from the first nine months of 1996 was $134,885.

RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

- Thirty-seven new sales in July exceeded monthly projections of 15 new subscription sales. School purchases normally diminish in summer months. Bridges' expanded sales efforts during the past year influenced the increase in sales for July.

- Bridges' first regionalized news service is now available to career/life planners in British Columbia. This showcase site enables Bridges to market similar services to other states and/or provinces over the next 18 months.

- North Carolina and North Dakota have agreed to be Career Explorer pilot states. Each state will organize 50+ subscribing pilot schools to review product enhancements and recommend further improvements. Pilots begin in September with the review of Bridges' new Portfolio system and psychological tests.

EMERGING EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES

- Based on July sales levels, Bridges' management anticipates that August projections of 15 new subscriber sales will be exceeded. Thirty new August subscriptions will take Bridges over the $1,000,000 mark for fiscal 1997. Bridges is in a good position to maintain operating profitability through to the end of fiscal 1997.

- Bridges is pleased to be involved in a training program for young Web entrepreneurs in partnership with The Kelowna Youth On-Line Inc. project. It marks Bridges' first step towards becoming a Web publisher of external content. Stay tuned for developments in the next few months.

- A stated goal for Bridges' Q3 is to raise funds to hire three new internal sellers. Management is presently investigating this opportunity and hope to provide investors with details on sales staff growth in our next Corporate Update.
