, today announced that it has appointed Michael Foster Michael Foster could be

 as senior vice president of worldwide sales. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Mr. Foster's first task will be to build an international sales team. Additionally, he will be charged with developing and servicing multiple distribution channels.

Mr. Foster has a proven history of exceeding corporate sales targets while achieving budget and gross margin objectives. Prior to joining BridgeWave, Mr. Foster was employed at P-Com, Inc. (a wireless telecom equipment and services provider) from 1993-1999 in a number of executive positions, including vice president of sales and marketing for the point-to-point Refers to a communications line that provides a path from one location to another (point A to point B). Contrast with multipoint.  and point-to-multipoint business units. During that period, he was instrumental in increasing P-Com's annual revenue from less than $1 million to more than $150 million.
