David Hose Joins Board of Directors

David Hose, a noted leader in the wireless industry, and currently senior vice president and chief development officer at Openwave, has joined the Board of Directors. Mr. Hose was previously founder and Chief Executive Officer of Signalsoft, a pioneer in the development of location based services for mobile phones - and guided Signalsoft through its venture funding, subsequent IPO (Initial Public Offering) The first time a company offers shares of stock to the public. While not a computer term per se, many founders, employees and insiders of computer companies have found this acronym more exciting than any tech term they ever heard.  and acquisition by Openwave.

New Hires

In addition, three new management hires have recently strengthened the company's leadership team:

--Karl Freter joins as Vice President of Product Management with a technical management background in wireless data and switching platforms at ByteMobile as Chief Architect, founder of Cambia Networks, and stints at 3Com and AT&T.

--Glen Schmid joins as Director of Mobile Solutions. His experience in telecommunications includes: Kineto Wireless, SS8 Networks and Ericsson.

--Inder Singh joins as Principal Client Software Architect, whose wireless career includes technical management positions with Via Technologies, Widcomm, Hughes Network Systems Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HNS), is a provider of broadband satellite network products for businesses and consumers. HNS pioneered the development of high-speed satellite Internet access services and IP-based networks with its original DirecPC service but which it now markets  and AT&T Bell Labs.
