BridgeGate LLC Completes Search for Edwards Lifesciences Vice President, Global Accounting and Reporting; Seventh Successful Executive Search Conducted for Edwards since 2000.

IRVINE, Calif. -- BridgeGate LLC, one of California's oldest and largest executive search firms, is pleased to announce the completion of a recruiting assignment resulting in the hiring of Tami Vienna to the position of Vice President, Global Accounting and Reporting for Edwards Lifesciences (NYSE:EW). Vienna replaces Lyndal McGlothan who, also placed by BridgeGate in 2003, is returning to Australia for personal reasons.

Vienna brings to Edwards more than 15 years of experience in financial leadership roles, most recently serving as Senior Director, Corporate Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting for Gateway Inc. (NYSE:GTW). During her career, Vienna has been instrumental in guiding the financial and accounting operations for fast-growing technology companies such as Western Digital (NYSE:WDC) and FileNet Corp. (NASDAQ:FILE). Vienna earned her CPA while an Auditor with Ernst & Young.

Reporting to Thomas Abate, Edwards Lifesciences' Corporate Vice President, Financial Control and Operations, Vienna will be chartered to provide strategic and tactical direction to the company on all matters regarding global accounting, SEC reporting, financial systems, mergers & acquisitions, and will ensure sound financial and accounting processes in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
