As part of its expansion plans, BridgeCo also announced the strengthening of its management team. Industry veteran Hugh J. MacPherson has been appointed Vice President of Sales, and Anthony Walsh has been appointed Vice President of Product Management. Mr. MacPherson will head BridgeCo's Silicon Valley sales and business development HQ office.

Putting Your HiFi on Your WiFi

BridgeCo offers a comprehensive silicon and software solution that enables consumer electronics manufacturers to add wireless Internet access to stereo systems and home audio products. With BridgeCo technology, any home with a WiFi (802.11) access point can wirelessly link an audio system to the Internet, and to any PC on the wireless network.

Stereo systems can play all of the MP3 files on a PC's hard drive, tune Internet radio stations right off the web, and subscribe to Internet music services -- all through a wireless WiFi link that typically costs consumers less than $130. BridgeCo will be demonstrating its wireless audio technology at Intel's Digital Home Show, which is taking place at the Sofitel Hotel in Redwood Shores, CA, on March 17.

Industry Veterans Join Executive Suite
