Bricsnet Forms Alliance with National Belgian Building Association to Market ProjectCenter.

CoBoNet selects Bricsnet.com's ProjectCenter as project extranet

solution for building professionals in Belgium and Luxembourg

Bricsnet (EASDAQ:BSNT) today announced that it has signed a letter of intent with CoBoNet N.V. to market Bricsnet's ProjectCenter to building professionals in Belgium and Luxembourg. CoBoNet N.V. is a joint venture of the Belgian Building Research Institute (BBRI / WTCB / CSTC) and Confederatie Bouw, founded to enhance their member services through the use of Internet technology. Through this new alliance, Bricsnet and CoBoNet will offer the benefits of Internet-based project collaboration to more than 90,000 building professionals in Belgium and Luxembourg.

ProjectCenter is a key component of Bricsnet.com's building industry e-marketplace. It provides online project management for architects, engineers, owners, contractors, and others involved in the building process. ProjectCenter users can share documents, review engineering drawings and collaborate on projects via a standard Web browser. Available on a monthly subscription basis, ProjectCenter is a hosted extranet service that allows users to get projects up and running quickly without having to purchase and support additional software or hardware.

Bricsnet's agreement with CoBoNet will introduce ProjectCenter to the 65,000 members of the BBRI, also known as WTCB (Wetenschappelijk en Technisch Centrum voor het Bouwbedrijf) or CSTC (Centre Scientifique et Technique de la Construction). CoBoNet also serves 15,000 members of the Confederatie Bouw as well as other building professionals in Belgium and Luxembourg. Users will be able to purchase ProjectCenter subscriptions via CoBoNet and the service will become available via the CoBoNet Web site (http://www.cobonet.be). Bricsnet will provide subscribers with training and support services. Bricsnet and CoBoNet expect to provide 500 project-months for ProjectCenter in 2000 and over 2,000 project-months in 2001.
