Bricsnet Expands in France.

BricsNet NV, the Gent, Belgium supplier of design software and online services has paid an undisclosed sum for Sandaur SARL, a French provider of online building product information. The deal is in line with the Belgian company's ambition to create a global building industry portal. Sandaur?s web site enables manufacturers of products such as elevators and windows, to display the latest information on their web sites and architects can cut-and-paste 3D models into their designs.

Bricsnet, which offers 2D/3D analysis and modeling software, has chosen the strategy of establishing portals for the industry, so that it offers both software and product information.
