Brice Carrington Creates Prodigy Evolution with a Talented Cast of Judges with Partner-Domrose.

Jerry Cantrell, currently the guitar player/songwriter for the group "Alice In Chains" and is planning a tour this summer with them. They have had multi platinum albums in the past.

Pearl Aday is our female mentor. Aside from being "Meatloaf's" adopted daughter, she is an amazing soulful singer who has toured as a back up singer with her father, and is currently recording her solo album.

Richie Kotzen is our winning mentor. He was a guitar player in the bands, Poison, Mr. Big and has played with Stanley Clark on his album project "Vertu" (not sure of that spelling). He also currently has a very successful solo career as a singer songwriter in Asia, South America, and Europe with over 10 albums to his credit.

Our industry panel is Bret Domrose who played in the bands "Dogstar" and "The Nuns" and has written songs for film and television, and Lisa Foxx who is the morning DJ from Star 98.7FM here in L.A. She has been in radio for over 15 years and has also been the voice of many commercials and the Academy Awards pre show program.

In an open audition the judges draft the musicians one by one to create a band. Once the bands have been created by the judges, these bands will compete in a final to become the next Prodigy. The process itself will include studio experience, writing and collaborating as the mentor tries to whip this new band into shape in a matter of days to compete in the finals. All the bands will compete in front of industry professionals, who, with the audience, will vote for the next "Prodigy."

The evolution of the band takes place when we follow the band home and watch them deal with new found fame, siblings, school and the demands of a new career. We watch the band create their first album and prepare for their first concert. What will be the reaction to seeing their names in lights for the first time?

Prodigy evolution is the third of five television series for Carrington, More Than Entertainment, Prophetic, Preacher man and The Mentor.

Carrington says, "We hope Prodigy will pick up where American Idol left off. This series will be a true look at the process from an unusual point of view. The ages of the members of the bands will create both humor and frustration. This show will hopefully give a deeper glimpse into the process."
