Biography Brian Paul Conley was born and raised in West London and studied Performing Arts at The Barbara Speake Stage School. is to lead the cast when the West End musical Hairspray arrives in the West Midlands West Midlands, former metropolitan county, central England. Created in the 1974 local government reorganization, the county embraced the Birmingham conurbation and comprised seven metropolitan districts: Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Birmingham, Solihull, next year. Brian will be taking the role of mum Edna Turnblad when the musical comes to the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre. A well known variety performer, Brian's television credits include The Brian Conley Show, The Grimleys and Time After Time. He is also a regular in pantomimes in Birmingham.
