Vance joined Heritage Bank in June 1996 as Senior Vice President and was promoted to Executive Vice President in October 1996. Prior to joining Heritage Bank, Vance was Senior Vice President, Regional Manager for West One Bank in Tacoma. He has over 23 years of financial banking experience, primarily in the commercial lending area.

Rhodes stated "I have great confidence in Brian's overall banking knowledge and leadership skills and am pleased we could fill this key position from within our current organization. His appointment will allow me to focus more of my time on the business of Heritage Financial Corporation."
