Brian J. Dugan, a highly regarded real estate business executive with a strong background in the financial and operational sectors, has joined CB Richard Ellis as senior managing director of the firm's industry-leading Long Island operations.

Brian J. Dugan, a highly regarded real estate business executive with a strong background in the financial and operational sectors, has joined CB Richard Ellis as senior managing director of the firm's industry-leading Long Island operations. Dugan will oversee day-to-day operations of the Woodbury and Long Island City offices.

Dugan takes the helm as head of CBRE's Long Island operations from Tom Krieger, who served as interim managing director since last year. Krieger will return to CBRE's East Brunswick office where he will be directing the firm's Central New Jersey activities.
