Prior to joining Penske, Hard was a sales representative for Carpenter Technology Corp. working in Philadelphia and Atlanta. He holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Belknap College. Hard is a member of the board of directors of Penske Truck Leasing. He is active in a number of industry organizations including serving on the board of directors of the Truck Renting and Leasing Association and the National Private Truck Council. Hard is involved in several community and civic groups as well.
